Bruneau is a small, unincorporated community located in Owyhee County, in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Idaho. An unincorporated community means it's a place with a shared identity but without its own local government like a city or town. It's nestled near the mouth of the Bruneau River and not far from the famous Bruneau Sand Dunes State Park. In 2014, about 552 people called Bruneau home.
