Marsing is found right on the Snake River. This river creates the border between Owyhee County and Canyon County.
The city covers a total area of about 0.69 square miles (1.79 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a very small part being water.
Roads and Travel
State Highway 55 is an important road for Marsing. It connects the city to Canyon County and goes northeast to Nampa.
Just two miles (3 km) west of Marsing, Highway 55 meets U.S. Route 95. This is a main road that runs north and south through Idaho. It also connects to western Nevada and northern California.
Another road, State Highway 78, heads southeast from Marsing. It leads to other towns in Owyhee County, like Murphy and Grand View.
