Bruno Malfacine is a famous Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) champion from Brazil. He was born on August 28, 1986. Many people think he is the best "roosterweight" (a weight class in BJJ) of all time.
Bruno is known for winning an amazing 10 World Championships. Because of his many wins, he was added to the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation Hall of Fame. This is a special honor for the best athletes in the sport.
Biography
Bruno Malfacine was born in Duque de Caxias, a city in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu when he was 11 years old, back in 1998. His first teacher was Carlos Santana.
After his first teacher stopped coaching, Bruno joined the Gama Filho team. There, he earned his black belt, which is the highest rank in BJJ. In 2008, he moved to São Paulo to train with Fabio Gurgel at the Alliance team. This is where he achieved most of his 10 world titles.
In 2020, Bruno Malfacine opened his own Alliance Jiu-Jitsu school. It is located in Orlando, Florida, in the United States. Today, he teaches students there, sharing his knowledge and skills.
Bruno, also known as "Bad Boy," has also competed in MMA. He has a perfect record of 3 wins and no losses in professional MMA fights.
