William "Bubba" Paris (born October 6, 1960) is a former American football player. He played as an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Bubba Paris is best known for his time with the San Francisco 49ers from 1983 to 1990. He was a key part of three 49ers teams that won the Super Bowl. His teammates also honored him with the Len Eshmont Award in 1987.

Early Life and High School Football
Bubba Paris grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He went to DeSales High School. While his team did not win a state championship during his time, many players, including Bubba, were noticed by college scouts. DeSales High School has since won multiple state championships.
College Career at Michigan
After high school, Paris attended the University of Michigan. He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines. During his time there, he was recognized as an All-Big Ten player. He was also named an All-American. In addition, he earned the title of a second-team Academic All-American. This shows he was great at both football and his studies.
Professional Football Career
Bubba Paris played as an offensive tackle in the NFL. This position is important for blocking defenders and protecting the quarterback. He spent most of his career with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for them from 1983 to 1990.

These include four sons named Wayne, David, Austin, and Brandon. He also has twin daughters, Courtney and Ashley. Both Courtney and Ashley became professional basketball players in the WNBA.
