William "Bubba" Paris (born October 6, 1960) is a former American football player. He was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Bubba Paris played most of his career for the San Francisco 49ers. He was a key part of three 49ers teams that won the Super Bowl.

Bubba Paris grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He went to DeSales High School there. Even though his high school team didn't win a state championship at the time, many players were noticed by college scouts.

After high school, Bubba Paris went to the University of Michigan. He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines. While at Michigan, he was named an All-Big Ten player. He was also recognized as an All-American. This means he was one of the best college players in the country. He also earned an Academic All-American honor for his good grades.

NFL Career Highlights

Bubba Paris was drafted into the NFL in 1982. He joined the San Francisco 49ers in 1983. He played for the 49ers until 1990. During his time with the 49ers, he helped them win three Super Bowls. These big wins were in 1985, 1989, and 1990.

In 1987, his teammates on the 49ers gave him the Len Eshmont Award. This award is given to the player who best shows courage and inspiration. After leaving the 49ers, he also played briefly for the Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions in 1991. Over his career, he played in 130 NFL games.

After his football career, Bubba Paris became a motivational speaker. He travels around the United States, sharing his experiences and inspiring others. He lives in Tracy, California with his wife, Cynthia, and their son, Trent.
