Buchanan is a small city located in Stutsman County, North Dakota, in the United States. It's a quiet place with a population of 87 people, based on the 2020 United States census. Buchanan was started way back in 1887.

A fun fact about Buchanan is that it used to have a giant bull statue! This huge bull was called Henry Leuhr's Giant Bull. It was inspired by the even bigger World's Largest Buffalo statue in nearby Jamestown, North Dakota. Buchanan's bull was about 30 feet (9.1 m) tall and 50 feet (15 m) long. Sadly, it got old and was taken down in 2007.
