The Story of Burger Time
Burger Time's first restaurant opened in Fargo, North Dakota, in August 1987. It quickly became very popular! Because of its success, more locations opened soon after.
At first, Burger Time was owned by a private group. Later, an investor from Fargo named Doug Geeslin bought the company. In 2004, a company called Sterion bought Burger Time from Mr. Geeslin. Sterion was a company that made medical devices. It later changed its name to Sten Corporation.
In 2007, Sten Corporation sold Burger Time to a new company called BTND LLC. This company was owned by Gary Copperud and Jeffrey A. Zinnecker. As of September 2024, BTND LLC also runs other restaurants in different parts of the United States.
How Burger Time Restaurants Work
Burger Time restaurants are mostly designed for outdoor service. This means they usually offer only drive-through or walk-up service. You can order your food and take it with you, or you can eat it right there!
