Cabot High School (often called CHS) is a public high school. It is located in Cabot, Arkansas. The school teaches students in grades ten, eleven, and twelve. It is part of the Cabot Public Schools system. This system serves the city of Cabot and much of northern Lonoke County. The school's area includes the towns of Cabot, Austin, and Ward.

Learning at Cabot High School
Students at Cabot High School follow the Smart Core curriculum. This plan was created by the Arkansas Department of Education. It includes regular classes and career-focused studies. Students can also take Advanced Placement (AP) courses. These classes offer a chance to earn college credit while still in high school.
Cabot High School has been named a School of Innovation. This means it uses new and creative ways to help students learn.
Fun Activities and Sports
The mascot for Cabot High School is the panther. The school colors are red, white, and black. The school's fight song is "On, Panthers!". It uses the tune from "On, Wisconsin!".
Cabot High School has its own broadcasting team. They create shows for Cabot High Television (CHTV). They also run the Cabot Schools Network (CSN). You can watch these shows locally on channel three.
The Cabot High School Quizbowl Team is very good. They compete in the 7A Central conference. They have won second place at the state championships many times. This includes wins in 2017, 2014, 2008, and 2007.
Sports Teams
The Cabot Panthers compete in the state's largest sports group. This is called the 7A Classification. It is managed by the Arkansas Activities Association. The Panthers play many sports. These include football, volleyball, and golf. They also have bowling, cross country, and basketball. Other sports are cheer, dance, soccer, baseball, and softball. They also have wrestling, swimming, tennis, and track & field.
- Football: The Panthers won the state football championship in 1983 and 2000.
- Volleyball: The Lady Panthers volleyball teams won state championships in 1989 and 1990. They won these two years in a row!
- Golf: The boys' golf team has won the state championship 8 times. The girls' golf team has won 9 state titles. They won their first in 1976. Then they won 8 straight titles from 1986 to 1993.
- Bowling: The girls' bowling team has won the state championship 4 times. The boys' bowling team has also won 4 state championships.
- Basketball: The Lady Panthers won their first state basketball championship in 2012. The Panthers boys' team won their first title in 2016. They beat Bentonville and Malik Monk with a score of 59-49.
- Cheerleading: The Cheerleading Team won the Game Day Cheer State Championship in 2020. In 2022, they won a national championship!
- Dance Team: The Dance Team won the Game Day Dance State Championship in both 2021 and 2022.
Speech and Debate Teams
Cabot High School has two main programs for speech and debate. These are Cabot Debate and Cabot Forensics. They are part of the National Speech and Debate Association. As of 2021, Cabot High School was ranked 1st in Arkansas. They are also in the top 50 nationally. This makes them one of the best debate teams in the state and country.
Band Program
The Cabot High School band program is very large. It is known as The Spirit of Cabot. It is the biggest high school marching band in Arkansas, with over 250 students! The marching band competes in different events. They placed 5th at a big competition in 2022. The Cabot Marching Band has also played in the National Independence Day Parade in Washington, D.C. They performed there in 2016, 2019, and 2022.
