Camden is a large community located in Minneapolis, a major city in Minnesota. It covers the upper half of the city's north side. Camden's borders are 53rd Avenue North to the north, the Mississippi River to the east, Lowry Avenue North to the south, and Xerxes Avenue North to the west.
This area is part of Ward 4 of the Minneapolis City Council. A council member named LaTrisha Vetaw represents the community. Camden is made up of seven smaller neighborhoods. It also includes the Camden Industrial Area and the Humboldt Industrial Area. These industrial areas are not part of any official neighborhood.
Two important bridges, the Camden and Lowry Avenue bridges, connect Camden to Northeast Minneapolis. People often refer to the combined areas of Near North and Camden as North Minneapolis.
