Cameron Chism was born in Washington, D.C. on December 25, 1990. He went to Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland.
He played college football for the Maryland Terrapins. He was a key player for them from 2008 to 2011.
Playing Professional Football
After college, Cameron Chism signed with the Indianapolis Colts. This team is part of the National Football League (NFL). He joined them on April 29, 2012. He was not chosen in the NFL draft, but the Colts still wanted him. He was released from the team on August 26, 2012.
On August 12, 2013, Cameron joined the BC Lions. This team plays in the Canadian Football League. He was signed to their practice squad first. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team. They can fill in if other players get hurt.
