Curtis Anthony Jackson II (born August 2, 1995), known as Capella Grey, is a talented American singer, songwriter, rapper, and music producer. He grew up in the Bronx, New York. Capella Grey started his own music group called Allepac the Family. He became very famous in 2021 with his hit song "Gyalis". His first album, Vibe Responsibly, Vol. 1, came out on June 21, 2024. He signed a record deal with 10K Projects.

Early Life and Music Start
Curtis Jackson II was born on August 2, 1995, in New Rochelle, New York. He grew up in a Jamaican family. He started playing musical instruments when he was very young. He learned about music from his church. After finishing high school, he continued to develop his music career in Mount Vernon, New York.
Capella Grey's Music Journey
Starting Out: 2016–2020
Capella Grey began his music career by writing songs and producing music for other artists. One of his early works was "Love You Better" by King Combs, which featured Chris Brown. He also signed an R&B girl group called Rèign to his own record label, Allepac Records. He wrote and produced their first album, which was released in 2019.
In 2020, Capella Grey released his first mixtape, Yea Nah I'm Out, on January 8. He followed this with his second mixtape, The QuaranTape Vibe 1., later that year.
"Gyalis" and Becoming Famous: 2021–2022
On January 4, 2021, Capella Grey released his single "Gyalis". This song used a sample from Juvenile's song "Back That Azz Up". "Gyalis" quickly became very popular in New York and on social media. Many other artists, like A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Kranium, made their own unofficial versions of the song.
The song reached number 10 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Many people called it the "song of the summer" that year. The official remix of "Gyalis" came out on October 1, 2021. It featured popular artists Popcaan and Chris Brown. Later in October 2021, Capella Grey was featured on DreamDoll's song "You Know My Body". This song was also a hit and played a lot on New York radio stations.
In 2021, he signed with Capitol. He said he chose them because they were not trying to change his artistic style. He felt they were a great team and was excited to work with them.
Capella Grey continued to release new music. On December 17, 2021, he released "Talk Nice". On March 18, 2022, he released "Confujawn" with Nija. He also released a music video for "Sas Crise" in May, featuring Alayzha Sky and Ghost. On June 10, Capella Grey released the song "OT" with Ty Dolla Sign.
He also appeared on other artists' albums. He was on Chris Brown's album Breezy for the song "Till The Wheels Fall Off", which also featured Lil Durk. On July 1, he was featured on DJ Drama's song "Forever". This song included Fabolous, Benny the Butcher, and Jim Jones. .....
First Album: Vibe Responsibly, Vol. 1
In January 2023, Capella Grey planned to release his first album on January 27, but it was delayed. ..... In October 2023, he released two more songs on his own: "How I Am" and "Baechester". On December 18, he released a holiday album called Nah It’s Brick: A Holiday Vibe.
In May 2024, Capella Grey announced the new release date for his first album. On June 11, he released the song "Strings" with Fivio Foreign and French Montana. This was part of his new deal with 10K Projects. Finally, on June 21, 2024, his debut album Vibe Responsibly, Vol. 1 was released. It featured many artists like Jaewon, Young M.A, Jacquees, Cash Cobain, Jada Kingdom, DreamDoll, Journey Montana, Tone Stith, Tory Lanez, and Skillibeng.

Allepac the Family is a record label based in New York City. Capella Grey founded it in 2016. The name "Allepac" is "Capella" spelled backwards. Capella Grey calls the music genre of his label "RNBOP." This term was created by his friend and frequent music partner, BBearded.
