A nose tackle is a strong defensive player who tries to stop the other team's offense, especially their running plays. Casey played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners. After college, he played for several teams in the NFL, including the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, and Buffalo Bills.

Early Life and High School Football
Casey Walker grew up in Garland, Texas. He played high school football for the Garland Owls at Garland High School. During his time there, he was a strong defensive player. In 2007, he made 22 tackles and had two sacks. A sack is when a defensive player tackles the opposing team's quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. He also forced two fumbles and hurried the quarterback seven times. In 2006, he had 25 tackles and two sacks.
College Football Journey
After high school, Casey Walker went on to play college football for the Oklahoma Sooners. He joined the team in 2008 but spent that year as a redshirt player. This means he practiced with the team but did not play in games, which allowed him to develop his skills. He then played for the Sooners from 2009 to 2012, showing his talent on the college field.
Playing in the NFL
Casey Walker began his professional football career in 2013. Even though he was not chosen in the 2013 NFL draft, he was soon signed by a team.
Time with the Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers signed Casey Walker on April 30, 2013. He was later released but then joined their practice squad. Life After Playing: Coaching
After his playing career, Casey Walker decided to become a football coach. He started coaching in 2017 at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). There, he worked as a graduate assistant, helping to coach the offensive line.
He then became a defensive line coach at Texas A&M University–Commerce from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, he coached at the University of the Incarnate Word and then at Louisiana Tech University. In 2024, Casey Walker was hired by Florida A&M University (FAMU), where he continues to coach the defensive line.
