Caupichigau Lake is a cool freshwater lake located in the southern part of the Eeyou Istchee James Bay area in Quebec, Canada. It's part of the Nord-du-Québec region.
The lake stretches across areas known as Berey and Daine. People mainly work in forestry (cutting down trees) here. Tourism, like fishing or boating, is also important.
You can reach the lake's area by using Road 113. This road connects the towns of Lebel-sur-Quevillon and Chibougamau. The lake usually freezes from early November to mid-May. It's safe to walk or play on the ice from mid-November to mid-April.
