Growing Up and College Basketball
Cedric Bozeman was born in Los Angeles, California. He went to Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana. While there, he played on the school's top-ranked basketball team, the Mater Dei Monarchs.
After high school, Cedric played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins.
- As a freshman, he played in 26 games and started 21 of them.
- He was recognized as one of the best new players in his conference.
- He was great at passing, averaging 3.5 assists per game.
- In his junior year, he started all 28 games.
- He led his conference in assists, with 5.5 assists per game and 155 total assists.
- He was given an award for being an outstanding team player.
Cedric's Professional Basketball Journey
Cedric Bozeman was not chosen in the NBA draft. However, he still got a chance to play in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks. He played 23 games for them before moving on.
Playing in the NBA D-League
After leaving the Hawks, Cedric joined the Albuquerque Thunderbirds. This team was part of the NBA D-League (now called the G-League). This league helps players develop their skills. Later, he also played for the Reno Bighorns and the Maine Red Claws in the D-League.
Playing Overseas
Cedric also played basketball in many different countries around the world.
- He played for the Belgium-based Telindus Oostende team.
- He then played in Poland for the Czarni Słupsk team.
- In 2010, he returned to Belgium to play for Belgacom Liège.
- In 2012, he played for the Barangay Ginebra Kings in the Philippine Basketball Association.

- From 2013 to 2015, Cedric played in Japan for the Toshiba Brave Thunders Kanagawa. He even helped his team win a championship in the 2013–14 season!
- He continued playing in Japan for the Fukushima Firebonds and Link Tochigi Brex before ending his career in 2018.
