Cessford is a small community, often called a hamlet, located in the southern part of Alberta, Canada. It's part of an area known as Special Area No. 2. You can find Cessford about 22 kilometers (14 miles) east of Highway 36. It's also about 54 kilometers (34 miles) northeast of the town of Brooks. The name 'Cessford' comes from a local farm in the area.
