Christopher Arnold Terreri (born November 15, 1964) is an American ice hockey coach and former player. He was a goaltender (the player who stops the puck from going into the net) in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 14 seasons. He played most of his career with the New Jersey Devils.
Chris Terreri also played for the San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks, and New York Islanders. He won two Stanley Cup championships with the Devils in 1995 and 2000. In 2018, he became a founding member of the Rhode Island Hockey Hall of Fame.

Playing Hockey
Starting His Career
Chris Terreri was chosen by the New Jersey Devils in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. He was the 85th player picked overall. Before playing professionally, he went to Providence College from 1982 to 1986.
While in college, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 1985 Hockey East tournament. He also earned the MVP award for the 1985 NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship.
Winning the Stanley Cup
Chris Terreri is a two-time Stanley Cup Champion with the New Jersey Devils. He won his first championship in 1995. His second Stanley Cup win came in 2000.
During his career, he played for several NHL teams. These included the Devils, the San Jose Sharks, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the New York Islanders. He was briefly with the Minnesota Wild in 2000. However, he was quickly traded back to the New Jersey Devils.
Coaching Hockey
Becoming a Coach
After his playing career, Chris Terreri became an assistant coach. In 2001, he joined the Albany River Rats. This team was the New Jersey Devils' farm team, where younger players develop their skills.
Returning to the Ice Briefly
During the 2005–06 season, Terreri made a short return to playing. He played in one professional game for the Albany River Rats. He made 27 saves in two periods. This was his first time playing in a game since the 2000–01 season.
Coaching in the NHL
On July 8, 2017, Chris Terreri finished his role as the goaltending coach for the New Jersey Devils. Later that year, on August 23, 2017, he was hired by the New York Islanders. He became their goaltending development coach. In this role, he helps young goalies improve their skills.

Awards and Honors
Chris Terreri received several awards during his college and professional career. He was named to the All-Hockey East First Team in 1985. He was also an All-American in 1985 and 1986. His biggest achievements are his two Stanley Cup championships in 1995 and 2000.
