Christine Diane Teigen (born November 30, 1985), known as Chrissy Teigen, is an American model, TV personality, and author. She first became famous for her modeling work. Chrissy appeared in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010. She was also on the cover of its 50th-anniversary issue in 2014.

Chrissy Teigen has hosted and judged many TV shows. These include Lip Sync Battle and Chrissy's Court. She has also written three popular cookbooks.

Chrissy Teigen was born on November 30, 1985, in Delta, Utah. Her mother, Vilailuck Chaiudom, is from Thailand. Her father, Ronald Leroy Teigen, has Norwegian and German family roots. Through a TV show called Finding Your Roots, Chrissy learned more about her family's history, including her Romani heritage.

After Chrissy was born, her family moved to Snohomish, Washington. Later, she moved to Huntington Beach, California. While living there, she worked at a surf shop. A photographer discovered her there, leading to her first modeling job with the clothing company Billabong.
