Chrissy Teigen (born November 30, 1985) is a famous American model and TV star. She first became well-known for her modeling work in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She even appeared on the special 50th-anniversary cover in 2014. Chrissy has also hosted popular TV shows like Lip Sync Battle and was a judge on Bring the Funny. Besides her TV work, she has written several successful cookbooks.

Early Life and Discovering Modeling
Chrissy Teigen was born on November 30, 1985, in Delta, Utah. Her mom is from Thailand, and her dad is American with Norwegian roots. When she was young, her family moved around a lot, including to Snohomish, Washington.
When Chrissy was 15, her family moved to Huntington Beach, California. She started working at a surf shop there. It was at this shop that she was discovered by a photographer. This led to her first modeling job with the clothing company Billabong.
