Christian Vincent is a talented Canadian-American professional dancer, choreographer (someone who creates dance routines), actor, and model. He was even nominated for an Emmy Award for his amazing choreography! You might know him from his role as Connor Martin in the Hallmark Christmas movie "A Majestic Christmas" or as Ricky in the TV show Noah's Arc.

Christian Vincent's Early Life and Education

Christian Vincent grew up in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. When he was in grade school, he went to Sandwich West Public School in LaSalle, Ontario. As a kid, Christian had many different hobbies, like karate, painting, and drawing.

Later, he found his true passion: dance! He worked hard and eventually went to Butler University, where he earned a special degree called a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). He also earned another advanced degree, an MFA, from The University of California, Irvine.

Christian Vincent's Career in Entertainment

After finishing college, Christian Vincent moved to Los Angeles, California. He wanted to become a professional dancer and choreographer.

Dancing with the Stars

Christian has danced with many famous music artists! He has toured and performed with huge stars like Madonna, Ashanti, Gloria Estefan, Prince, Ricky Martin, Shakira, and Britney Spears. Early in his career, he also danced in commercials for companies like Bellsouth and Oral-B. You can even spot him as a background dancer in Madonna's "Don't Tell Me" music video.

Christian has also danced in many popular films and TV shows. Some of these include "Dancing with The Stars," She's All That, Rent, Starsky & Hutch, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Arrested Development, MADtv, George Lopez, Baywatch, Cold Case, and "G.I Joe Retaliation."

Choreography and Acting Roles

Besides dancing, Christian is also a skilled choreographer and dance coach for TV and movies. He started his professional choreography career by creating dances for several commercials for Target.

He was a co-star and choreographer for the reality TV show Canada Sings. He also worked as the dance coach for actress Sally Hawkins for Guillermo Del Toro's movie The Shape of Water. Christian choreographed the Netflix movie "Self Made," which starred Octavia Spencer. For this work, he was nominated for a World Choreography Award! He also choreographed biopics (movies about real people's lives) about Salt-N-Pepa and "The Christmas Dance Reunion."

Most recently, Christian Vincent received an Emmy Award nomination from the Television Academy. His choreography for the CBC/BET series "The Porter" was recognized in the category of Outstanding Choreography for Scripted Programming. This was a very special nomination because it was the first time BET had received a major nomination for a scripted series!

As an actor, Christian has appeared in several TV shows and films. He played Michael the Archangel in the ABC Family miniseries Fallen. He also had roles in "Fringe," "Continuum," Smallville," Noah's Arc: Jumping the Broom," Center Stage: Turn It Up, "Noah's Arc," Hallmark's "A Majestic Christmas," and City TV's series "The Wedding Planners." He was also in the movie "The Christmas Dance Reunion."

Beyond his work in entertainment, Christian Vincent is also a professor. He teaches at The Glorya Kaufman School of Dance at the University of Southern California.
