The first album, Christmas with The Chipmunks, came out in 1962. It has 12 songs. The songs from this album and its next one, Christmas with The Chipmunks Vol. 2, have always been popular since they first came out.
Over the years, the covers for Volume 1 and Volume 2 sometimes got mixed up. But the songs inside each album always stayed the same! Both albums have been put together and released again many times. This means their Christmas songs are some of the most famous Chipmunk tunes ever. A newer version called Chipmunks Christmas was released in 2012.
