Ernest Charles Arnason (born July 15, 1951) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played as a right wing in the National Hockey League (NHL) for eight seasons. During his career, he played 401 games for many teams. These teams included the Montreal Canadiens, Atlanta Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins, Kansas City Scouts, Cleveland Barons, Colorado Rockies, Minnesota North Stars, and Washington Capitals.
Chuck Arnason holds a special record in the NHL. He was the first player ever to play for five teams that no longer exist. These teams are called "defunct" because they either moved or stopped playing in the league.
