Cinebar is a small, rural community in Lewis County, Washington, United States. It is an "unincorporated community," which means it's a group of homes and businesses that are part of the larger county, rather than having its own city government.
Cinebar is located between two main roads: State Route 508 and U.S. Route 12. The community got its name from cinnabar, a reddish mineral found in the mountains to the northeast.
Even though it's a small place, Cinebar has a post office and a fire station on State Route 508. Other communities close to Cinebar include Silver Creek, Salkum, Morton, Onalaska, Napavine, Chehalis, and Centralia.
