History of Clements
A post office has been open in Clements since 1900, helping people send and receive mail. The city was officially planned and marked out on a map in 1902. It was named after Peter O. Clements, who was one of the first people to settle in the area.
Geography of Clements

The main roads in Clements include County Road 16. This road connects to U.S. Highway 71, which is about three miles to the west. Another important road is County Road 1. It connects to Minnesota Highway 68, located nearly two miles to the north.
