Clicker Heroes is a fun video game made by a company called Playsaurus. It's a free-to-play game, which means you can play it without buying it. It's also known as an "idle game" because you don't have to constantly play it.

This game is like a spin-off from another Playsaurus game called Cloudstone.

Clicker Heroes first came out in 2014 for computers using web browsers. Later, in 2015, it became available on iPhones and Android phones. By 2017, you could play it on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.

How to Play Clicker Heroes

In Clicker Heroes, your main goal is to defeat many different creatures. These creatures are called "monsters." You start by clicking on them to make them disappear.

Earning Gold and Heroes

When you defeat a monster, you earn gold. You can use this gold to buy special characters called "heroes." These heroes are super helpful! They automatically attack monsters for you, even when you're not clicking.

Playing While Idle

This is why it's called an idle game. Once you have heroes, the game keeps going even if you're not actively playing. Your heroes will keep fighting and earning gold for you. This means you can make progress in the game without always being there.

When Clicker Heroes Was Released

Clicker Heroes first appeared on popular gaming websites. It was released on Kongregate in August 2014. A month later, in September 2014, it also came out on Armor Games.

Release on Other Platforms

In May 2015, the game became available on Steam for computers running Microsoft Windows and OS X. A few months later, on August 20, 2015, it launched for iOS and Android mobile devices.

Clicker Heroes 2

Playsaurus also created a second game in the series. It is called Clicker Heroes 2. Unlike the first game, Clicker Heroes 2 is not free-to-play. You need to buy it to play.

A Problem with the Game

For a short time in May 2019, Clicker Heroes was removed from the Apple App Store. This happened because another company had made a game very similar to Clicker Heroes. This company then asked Apple to take the original game off the store. Luckily, the original game was put back later.
