This county is located in an interesting part of New South Wales. It's found between two important rivers: the Bogan River and the Barwon River. The county is in the area where these two rivers join, just south of a town called Brewarrina. It stretches east towards the Carinda area. Clyde County was given its name to honor a famous military leader. He was Field Marshal Sir Colin Campbell (1792–1863). He was a very important figure in the British army during his time.
