ConnectiCon is a super fun yearly event that celebrates all sorts of pop culture! It's like a big party for fans of anime, science fiction, comic books, and even card games. This exciting convention happens every year in Hartford, Connecticut.

What Happens at ConnectiCon?

ConnectiCon is packed with awesome activities for everyone. Imagine watching your favorite anime and sci-fi movies all day and night! The convention has special rooms just for this.

Gaming Fun

If you love video games, you're in luck! GameStop helps out by providing game consoles. You can join exciting tournaments or just play for fun with your friends. There are also tons of other games to enjoy. You can play board games, card games, miniature games, and even role-playing games.

Creative Zones and Shows

  • Artist Alley: This is a cool place where talented artists show off and sell their amazing art.
  • Exhibitor Hall: Here, you can find all sorts of cool stuff to buy, like comics, toys, and collectibles.
  • Panels and Workshops: You can learn new things or hear from experts about your favorite topics.
  • Big Stage Events: Get ready for awesome shows like the Masquerade, where people show off their amazing costumes. There's also Cosplay Chess, where people dressed as characters play a giant chess game! Other fun events include the Dating Game and Nerd Prom.
  • Live Performances: Enjoy exciting artistic, musical, and theatrical shows. Groups like Super Art Fight! often perform.

Some well-known voice actors who have been guests include Carlos Ferro. Actors from science fiction films and TV shows like Robert Picardo, Ethan Phillips, Ellen Muth, Glenn Shadix, and Peter Mayhew have also attended.

Where is ConnectiCon Held?

ConnectiCon first started in 2003 at the University of Hartford. Since 2005, it has been held at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. This bigger location has helped the convention grow even more!
