Cordelius Jamerr Parks (born November 12, 1986) is an American former professional football player. He played as a cornerback, which is a defensive position. Parks was first signed by the St. Louis Rams in 2009. He also played college football at Northeastern.

Cordelius Parks' Early Life
Cordelius Parks grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia. He played football for four years at Stone Mountain High School. He was the team captain during his junior and senior years. As a senior, he earned second-team All-County honors. This means he was one of the best players in the county.
Besides football, Parks also ran track for three years. He competed in hurdles events. He finished third in both the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles at the county championship.
Playing Football in College
Cordelius Parks played college football for the Northeastern team. In 2008, he started all 12 games as a cornerback. He made 54 tackles, which means he stopped the player with the ball many times. He also forced and recovered a fumble, and broke up four passes.
In 2007, he started 11 games at cornerback. He was third on his team in tackles with 63. He also had two interceptions, catching the ball from the other team. He broke up four passes and returned 20 kickoffs. As a sophomore in 2006, he made 40 tackles. He also had a good average on kickoff returns. In 2005, he played in 11 games and made 14 tackles.
Parks also competed on the track team at Northeastern. He ran in the 100 meters, 110 hurdles, and the 4x100 relay. He placed high in the CAA Championships for track.

Cordelius Parks played for several professional football teams.
St. Louis Rams
The St. Louis Rams signed Parks on April 29, 2009. He was an undrafted free agent, meaning he wasn't picked in the main draft. He spent most of the season on the practice squad. Later, on December 26, he was moved to the active roster.
Seattle Seahawks
In 2010, Parks spent a short time with the Seattle Seahawks. He was part of their practice roster. He was released after week 5 of the season.
Minnesota Vikings
Parks spent the 2010 season on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad. He was signed to their team for the 2011 offseason. He had a strong preseason with the Vikings. However, he was released after the final preseason game because of an injury.
New Orleans Saints
Parks joined the training camp for the New Orleans Saints in 2012. He was cut from the team on August 27, 2012.
BC Lions
Cordelius Parks then moved to the CFL. He played for the BC Lions from 2013 to 2015.

Parks signed with the Edmonton Eskimos on May 26, 2016.
