First Hit Songs
On March 6, 2020, Corpse released his first song as a main artist, "Miss You!". This song became quite popular, reaching number 31 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. Soon after, his song "White Tee" also did well, reaching number 32 on the same chart.
Gaming and More Music
In September 2020, Corpse started playing and streaming the video game Among Us. This helped him gain a lot of new fans and grow his YouTube channel to over 7 million subscribers. In the same month, he released "E-Girls Are Ruining My Life!" with rapper Savage Ga$p. This song was a huge success. It charted in several countries and was streamed over 100 million times on Spotify. By 2022, it was certified platinum, meaning it sold over a million copies.
Working with Others
In October 2020, Corpse joined some famous streamers like Disguised Toast and Pokimane. They played Among Us with U.S. politicians Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar. This event was to encourage people to vote in the 2020 United States presidential election. Later that month, he released another song called "Agoraphobic."
In March 2021, Corpse was featured on Machine Gun Kelly's song "DayWalker". A music video for the song came out, featuring fellow YouTuber Valkyrae acting as Corpse. This song was Corpse's first to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In April 2021, Corpse took part in a special Among Us game on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. They played with members of The Roots, streamers Valkyrae and Sykkuno, and actors from Stranger Things. All the money raised went to Feeding America, a charity that helps feed people.
In September 2021, Corpse released a song called "Hot Demon ... Near U!!!" with Night Lovell.
Voice Acting Debut
In February 2022, Corpse used his unique voice for an English dub role. He voiced Ōjirō Ōtori in the anime show Tribe Nine. This was his first time voice acting in an anime.
Personal Health
Corpse has shared that he lives with certain health conditions. These include fibromyalgia, which causes long-term pain, and thoracic outlet syndrome. He also has GERD, a condition that affects his stomach. This last condition has partly contributed to his naturally deep voice. He also often wears an eyepatch because bright screens can strain his eyes.
