Coyote Dry Lake is a special place in the Mojave Desert in California. It is a dry lake bed, which means it's a lake that has dried up. You can find it in San Bernardino County, California, about 15 miles northeast of Barstow.

This dry lake is quite large. It measures about 10 kilometers (6 miles) long and 6 kilometers (4 miles) wide at its widest point.

Coyote Dry Lake is located south of the Fort Irwin Military Reservation. It is also southwest of the Tiefort Mountains. A place called St. Antony's Monastery is about 4 miles to the southeast.

Many meteorites have been discovered on the flat, open surface of the lake bed. Scientists often look for them here.
