Craig Doyle (born 17 December 1970) is a well-known Irish television and radio presenter. Many people in the UK recognize him from his work on the BBC and ITV, and more recently TNT Sports. In Ireland, he is known for hosting shows like Tonight with Craig Doyle on RTÉ One and Craig Doyle Live on RTÉ2.
Craig is often seen covering Premiership and European Champions Cup rugby matches for TNT Sports. He also covers MotoGP motorcycle racing. He has been a presenter for ITV's Rugby World Cup coverage too. Since 2022, Doyle has been a guest presenter on the ITV daytime show This Morning.

Early Life and Education
Craig Doyle was born on 17 December 1970. He grew up in a part of Dublin called Stillorgan. He went to school at Blackrock College.
After school, he studied sociology and history at Maynooth University. Later, he went to the London College of Printing. There, he earned a special qualification in broadcast journalism.
Broadcasting Career Highlights
After finishing his studies, Craig started working in local radio. He worked for BBC Radio Suffolk in Ipswich. In 1995, he moved to ITV to present a children's show called Disney Club. This happened after he met a producer from the show by chance.
Moving to London and BBC Work
Craig then moved to London. He presented shows like Tomorrow's World, Fasten Your Seatbelt, and Innovation Nation. For six years, he hosted Holiday on BBC One. He also had a live music show on London's Capital Radio every Saturday morning.
From 2004, Doyle was part of the BBC Sport team. He covered international rugby, including the Six Nations Championship. He also presented a nightly highlights show with Clare Balding for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
Joining ITV Sport and Irish TV
In February 2008, Craig Doyle joined ITV Sport. He took over from Jim Rosenthal as the host for UEFA Champions League highlights on ITV and ITV4. He also covered the Isle of Man TT motorcycle race. Craig left Capital Radio at the end of 2008.
In April 2010, Doyle returned to Irish TV. He hosted his own chat show, Tonight with Craig Doyle, on RTÉ One. In September 2010, he joined the team on ITV's Lorraine as a reporter. Doyle also presented the Irish show The Panel until 2011. He then became the presenter for a new live chat show called The Social in November 2011. This show returned in 2012 as Craig Doyle Live.
He also presented Now That's What You Called News for RTÉ during Christmas 2011.
Recent Work in Sports and Daytime TV
Since mid-2013, Doyle has been working with BT Sport. He presents their coverage of Rugby Union. He also presented BT Sport's coverage of MotoGP between 2015 and 2018.
Since November 2021, Craig Doyle has been appearing on the ITV show This Morning. He often presents the competitions and entertainment parts of the show. In May 2022, he was a guest presenter on the show alongside Alison Hammond. He has also filled in as a presenter with Josie Gibson, Mollie King, and Rochelle Humes during school holidays. He is now a regular relief presenter on the show.
In January 2024, Doyle was a contestant on the BBC Two game show Richard Osman 's House of Games. He finished third in the competition.
Other Activities
Craig Doyle presented the ESAT Young Scientist Exhibition in Dublin in 2005. He is also known for appearing in adverts for the double-glazing company Everest Windows in the UK. In Ireland, he was the face of adverts for the UPC cable service. He also represented Littlewoods Ireland.
Craig Doyle is the Honorary President of the London Irish Supporters Club.
Personal Life
In January 2002, Craig Doyle married his longtime girlfriend, Doon. They have four children together. The family lives in County Wicklow, Ireland.
