The programme is broadcast live from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. It features many different topics. These include showbiz news, fashion tips, health advice, and food ideas. You can also watch celebrity interviews and enter competitions.
Because of how TV channels work in the UK, sometimes the first part of the show has ITV logos. The rest of the show might have STV logos, especially in Scotland. This is because the show crosses over different broadcasting times.

History of the Show
The very first episode of Lorraine aired on 6 September 2010. A preview of the show revealed a bright and spacious studio. It had pastel colours and pink decorations. The sofa for guests was pink and shaped in a semicircle.
Lorraine's first guest was actress Gemma Arterton. The first show also featured an interview with Sky News reporter Sarah Parish. TV chef James Tanner shared a recipe. Celia Walden and Kevin Maguire reviewed the day's newspapers.
Studio Evacuation in 2014
On 20 October 2014, the show had to go off air suddenly. A fire alarm went off at the studio in London. Everyone had to leave the building. Lorraine Kelly was about to interview a guest when the alarm sounded at 9:10 AM.
A spokesperson for the show explained what happened. They said the area was evacuated for safety. Once it was checked and safe, people could go back inside. Lorraine Kelly apologized to fans on Twitter. The show could not return to air that day. Another programme was shown instead.
New Children's Author Competition
In February 2016, Lorraine launched a special competition. It was called Lorraine's Top Tales. The goal was to find new authors for children's books. Famous people like Nadiya Hussain and Tom Fletcher were judges.
Moving to a New Studio
In April 2018, Lorraine moved to a new studio. It moved to BBC Studioworks' Television Centre. This move happened because the old studio, The London Studios, was going to be redeveloped. In October 2018, it was decided that ITV would not return to the old location.
New Time Slot in 2020
On 6 January 2020, the show changed its time. It now airs from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This change meant that Good Morning Britain and This Morning were both made 30 minutes longer.
Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic
Production of Lorraine was paused for a few months in 2020. This was due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From 23 March to 10 July 2020, Good Morning Britain was extended. The last hour of Good Morning Britain was presented by Lorraine Kelly. It was called Good Morning Britain with Lorraine.
