Christine Lampard (born February 2, 1979) is a famous TV and radio presenter from Northern Ireland. She is well-known for hosting many TV shows. These include The One Show and Daybreak with Adrian Chiles. She also hosted Dancing on Ice and This Morning with Phillip Schofield.
Christine has also presented factual series like Off The Beaten Track and Wild Ireland. Since 2016, she has been a presenter on the popular lunchtime chat show Loose Women.

Early Life and Education
Christine Bleakley was born in Newry, Northern Ireland. She grew up in a town called Newtownards. Christine has a younger sister named Nicola.
She started her TV journey as a "runner," helping behind the scenes. Then she trained to be a "floor manager" while studying for her A-Levels at Bloomfield Collegiate School in Belfast. She also worked at BBC Northern Ireland while studying politics at Queen's University, Belfast. However, she decided to focus on her TV career full-time before finishing her degree.
Television Career
Starting at BBC Northern Ireland
Christine began her career at BBC Northern Ireland. She worked on the comedy show Give My Head Peace. She even made a special appearance in the show's 2016 episode.
She hosted many different shows for BBC Northern Ireland. One show, called Sky High (2004), involved her flying around Northern Ireland in a helicopter. She also hosted First Stop, Would You Pass The 11+ and helped with Children in Need. In 2005, she presented a cooking show called Spill the Beans.
Moving to BBC One
In 2006, Christine co-hosted Let Me Entertain You on BBC Two. In July 2007, she became the co-host of The One Show on BBC One. She hosted this popular show with Adrian Chiles for three years.
Christine also sometimes presented The National Lottery Draws on BBC One. In 2010, she helped host a part of the Sport Relief telethon.
Joining ITV
In 2010, Christine decided to leave the BBC and join ITV. She became the co-host of the breakfast show Daybreak with Adrian Chiles.
Daybreak had some challenges at first. Christine and Adrian left the show in 2011.
ITV Shows and Highlights
From 2011 to 2015, Christine co-hosted Text Santa, ITV's Christmas charity telethon. She hosted it with Phillip Schofield and Paddy McGuinness. She also presented special music shows like Simply Red: For the Last Time (2010) and Duran Duran: One Night Only (2011).
In 2011, Christine became Phillip Schofield's co-presenter on Dancing on Ice. She hosted three series of the show from 2012 to 2014. The show ended in 2014 but returned later with different presenters.
Christine also presented a six-part series called Off The Beaten Track in 2013. She is often a stand-in host on This Morning when the main presenters are away.
In 2014, she co-hosted a documentary called Roman Britain From the Air. She also hosted a magic special, Darcy Oake: Edge of Reality, where she even helped with some illusions!
In 2015, Christine presented Wild Ireland, a six-part documentary series. This show saw her traveling across the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland.
Since 2016, she has been a regular presenter on the popular chat show Loose Women. She also often fills in as a presenter for Lorraine during school holidays.

In 2016, Christine co-presented Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live for UKTV's W channel. She hosted this show with Matt Richardson and Jamie East. In 2018, she and Matt Richardson presented Celebrity Haunted Mansion for the same channel.
Strictly Come Dancing
In 2008, Christine took part in the sixth series of Strictly Come Dancing. She was partnered with professional dancer Matthew Cutler. They danced many different styles, from the Foxtrot to the Salsa.
Christine and Matthew were eliminated from the competition in fifth place.

Radio and Other Work
Radio Shows
Early in her career, Christine worked at Belfast Citybeat as a newsreader and presenter. From January to March 2015, she presented a Sunday afternoon show called Sunday Lunch on Magic Radio.
Other Projects
Christine has also done voice work for films. She was the voice of a radio newsreader in the 1998 film Divorcing Jack. In 2010, she was the voice of Sandra in the animated film A Turtle's Tale: Sammy's Adventures.
In 2011, she released a fitness DVD called Christine Bleakley – The Workout. She also made her stand-up comedy debut in 2010 for Channel 4's Comedy Gala, a show that raised money for Great Ormond Street Hospital for children.
Christine has also been a brand ambassador for products like Soft & Gentle anti-perspirant and BT Call Protect.
Awards
In November 2010, Christine was named 'Top TV Host' at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards.
Personal Life
In October 2009, Christine began a relationship with English footballer Frank Lampard. They got married on December 20, 2015. Christine is a stepmother to Frank's two daughters from a previous relationship. They welcomed a baby girl on September 21, 2018, and a baby boy on March 15, 2021.
Charity Work
Christine is an ambassador for The Prince's Trust, a charity that helps young people. In 2010, she completed a water skiing challenge for Sport Relief, raising over £1.3 million. She was the first person to water-ski across the English Channel. For the same charity, she shaved her co-host Adrian Chiles' beard, which raised £60,000. In 2012, Christine took part in a 5km run for Cancer Research UK.
She is also a patron for the Sparks children's charity. She hosted their winter ball in 2015. Christine also supported the Text Santa appeal and presented their annual telethon for several years.
