Cristina Danielle Valenzuela (born July 11, 1987), known as Cristina Vee, is an American voice actress. She uses her voice for English versions of anime shows, animated cartoons, and video games.

About Cristina Vee
Early Life and School
Cristina Vee was born on July 11, 1987. She grew up in Norwalk, California, near Los Angeles. Her family has roots from Tepehuan, Spanish, and Lebanese cultures.
When she was in middle school and high school, Cristina loved music. She played in the Norwalk All City band. She was also very interested in acting and animation. Her friends even called her "Sailor Moon girl." She helped start the first anime club at John Glenn High School.
Cristina studied theatre arts at California State University at Long Beach. She graduated in 2007. Her professor, Hugh O'Gorman, supported her dream of becoming an actress.
How Cristina Became a Voice Actress
When Cristina was younger, she first wanted to be an animator. But after watching the TV show Sailor Moon, she decided to become a voice actress at age 12. By the time she was 16, she had already been doing voice acting online for four years.
Cristina often went to Anime Expo as a fan. She even joined their voice-over contest called AX Idol. In 2004, she helped at a voice-over panel. There, she met Wendee Lee, who invited her to try out for roles. This led to her first big role as Kanaria in Rozen Maiden.

Cristina Vee has voiced many popular anime characters. In 2008, she was the voice of Louise in The Familiar of Zero. She also voiced Nanoha in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. She even played the live-action version of Haruhi Suzumiya for some special videos and events.

In 2011, Cristina voiced Mio Akiyama in the music comedy K-On!. She also voiced Nagisa Saitō in Squid Girl. That same year, she was Alisa Bosconovitch in the anime movie Tekken: Blood Vengeance. She traveled to anime conventions to promote the film.
A big role for her was Homura Akemi in Puella Magi Madoka Magica in 2012. In 2014, she became the voice of Sailor Mars in the new English version of Sailor Moon. She also voiced Sailor Mars in the newer Sailor Moon Crystal series. Cristina said that her voice for Rei (Sailor Mars) in Crystal was more serious.
Other anime roles include Noel Vermillion in BlazBlue Alter Memory (2015). She also voiced Hawk in The Seven Deadly Sins, which is on Netflix. In 2016, she voiced Killua Zoldyck in Hunter × Hunter. More recently, in 2021, she voiced Vivy in Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song.
Voice Acting in Animation
Cristina Vee has worked on many animated shows and projects. In 2015, she started voicing Marinette Dupain-Cheng, also known as Ladybug. This was for the English version of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. This popular show first aired on Nickelodeon. It is now available on Netflix, Disney+, and Disney Channel.
The show's producer, Jared Wolfsen, said that Cristina brings a lot of energy to Ladybug. He also mentioned that Cristina is sweet and kind, just like her character. In 2021 and 2024, Cristina voiced Verosika Mayday in the animated web series Helluva Boss. She appeared in episodes like "Spring Broken" and "Ozzie's."
In June 2023, it was announced that she would voice Tere and Toñita. These characters are in the animated series Primos. This show premiered in July 2024 on Disney Channel.

She also sang "Rise and Shine Shantae" for Shantae and the Seven Sirens (2019). She performed "Until I'm Broken" for the game Loren the Amazon Princess (2012).
She has recorded several songs for the mobile game Arknights. These include "Boiling Blood" (2019) and "ALIVE" (2021). She also sang "Spark for Dream" (2022) and "Water Quench" (2023). In 2023, she sang the English ending theme for Digimon Adventure:, called "KUYASHISAWA TANE."
Cristina has shared many anime song covers on YouTube. In 2015, she released an EP (a short album) called Menagerie. She worked on this with DJ Bouche. In 2017, she released a cover of Charlie Puth's song "Attention" with YouTuber Nathan Sharp. She also signed with an independent record label called Give Heart Records. In April 2024, Cristina released a cover of "Whatever It Takes." This song is from the animated series Hazbin Hotel. She sang it with Sofia Gomez and Tre Watson.
