Cyrine Abdelnour (born February 21, 1977) is a famous Lebanese singer, actress, and model. She is also known as Cyrine Abd Al-Nour. She started her career in the early 1990s.

Cyrine released her first music album, Leila Min Layali, in 2004. Her second album, Aleik Ayouni, came out in 2006. The song "Law Bas Fe Aini" (If he looks in my eyes) from this album became very popular in Egypt. Cyrine has also acted in many Arabic TV shows and movies. She has won four Murex d'Or awards for being the best Lebanese actress.

Early Life and Education

Cyrine Abdelnour was born in Abadiyeh, Lebanon. Her father, Elias, was a tailor from Lebanon. Her mother, Sylvie Cattouf, was a nurse with Greek and Lebanese family roots. Sylvie is also a follower of the Greek Orthodox Christian faith.

Cyrine first studied accounting until 1993. However, she soon decided that she wanted to become a model instead.

Cyrine's Career Journey

Starting as a Model

Cyrine Abdelnour began her modeling career in 1992. She worked with famous fashion designers like Zuhair Murad and Thierry Mugler. In 1994, she appeared in a music video for the singer George Wassouf called "Kalam El Nass".

In 2002, Cyrine won the "Model of the World" title. This event took place at the Regency Palace Hotel in Beirut.

Acting Roles and Awards

Cyrine started acting with the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation in 1998. Her first notable roles were in Smaa Kchaa (1998) and Sahat Sahteen (1999).

In 2003, she starred as Ebanati in the Arabic TV series Dareb Khwet. For this role, she won her first Murex d'Or award for best Lebanese actress. She also had a main role in the series Mariana (1998). In 2004, she starred in Ghariba, and in 2007, in the LBC series The Prisoner. From 2009 to 2010, she played the main character in Sarah, another series on MTV Lebanon.

Movies and Recent Successes

In 2008, Cyrine acted in the Egyptian film Ramadan Mabrouk Abul-Alamein Hamouda. She also appeared in the Lebanese-Egyptian movie Smoke Without Fire. The next year, she was in the Egyptian TV series Al Adham. She also starred in the film Al Mosafer (The Traveller) with the famous actor Omar Sharif. This movie was shown at the 66th Venice Film Festival.

In 2012, Cyrine starred in the Lebanese series Ruby. In 2013, she played the main role in Lobat El-Mot (Death game). By 2016, she was one of the highest-paid actresses in Lebanon.

In 2019, Cyrine starred in "Al-Hayba - The Harvest" (Arabic: الهيبة الحصاد) with Syrian actor Taim Hasan. This TV series was a big success. She then worked with Lebanese actor Adel Karam in a 15-episode TV series called "Dor El Omor" (Arabic: دور العمر). In this show, she played a young woman with a difficult past.

Music Albums

Cyrine released her first album, Leila min El Layali, in 2004. Her third album with her record label (Rotana Records), called Layali El Hob (Nights of Love), came out in 2009.

Personal Life and Family

Cyrine Abdelnour is married to Farid Rahme, a Lebanese businessman. In 2011, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Taliya. In March 2018, they had a son named Cristiano Rahme.

Cyrine is a practicing Christian. In 2015, she spoke about her religious beliefs during an interview. She said, "I'm Christian and it's not like I surprised anyone with the news." She believes artists should feel free to talk about their religion in public.
