Daeg Neergaard Faerch (born September 27, 1995) is an American actor and rapper. He is also known by his stage names GreatDaeg and Dnmrkboom.

Faerch is best known for playing a young Michael Myers in the 2007 horror movie Halloween. He has also acted in many plays, including works by Shakespeare like Hamlet and Coriolanus. Besides acting, Faerch creates rap music and has released several albums.

Acting Career

Daeg Faerch began his career as a child actor. His talent was seen in many different roles on stage and in movies.

Role in Halloween

One of Faerch's most famous roles was playing the 10-year-old version of Michael Myers in the 2007 movie Halloween. For this role, he even performed his own stunts. His performance was praised by critics. KPBS, a news organization, said, "Daeg Faerch is key in making these early scenes work. He delivers a truly chilling performance."

Faerch was originally going to be in the sequel, Halloween II. However, by the time filming started, he had grown too tall for the part. The role was then given to another actor, Chase Wright Vanek.

Other Movie and TV Roles

In 2008, Faerch appeared in the superhero movie Hancock, starring Will Smith. He played a French-speaking neighborhood boy named Michel.

He also acted in the TV show Pushing Daisies as a German schoolboy. In 2018, he appeared with actress Sophie Turner in the movie Josie. He also had a voice role in the 2016 Ben Affleck movie The Accountant.
