Daniel Howell, born on June 11, 1991, is a popular English YouTuber, presenter, comedian, and author. He became well-known through his main YouTube channel, Daniel Howell, which used to be called danisnotonfire. This channel has over six million subscribers. He also has a gaming channel called DanAndPhilGAMES.

Daniel is also famous for working often with his friend Phil Lester. They are known as the entertainment duo Dan and Phil. They hosted a Sunday night show called Dan and Phil on BBC Radio 1 from January 2013 to August 2014. After that, they hosted The Internet Takeover on the same station from September 2014 to April 2016.

Early Life and Education

Daniel Howell grew up in Winnersh, Berkshire, England. He has a younger brother named Adrian.

When he was younger, Daniel worked at a retail store and a supermarket. After finishing high school in 2009, he took a year off. During this time, he started making videos for his YouTube channel just for fun. In 2010, he began studying law at the University of Manchester. The Amazing Book Is Not on Fire and Tour

On March 26, 2015, Phil Lester and Daniel Howell announced they had written a book together called The Amazing Book Is Not on Fire. It was released in the UK in October 2015. The book quickly became a top seller on the Sunday Times Bestsellers list. It also became a No. 1 New York Times Bestseller for young adult books.

At the same time, they announced their live stage show called The Amazing Tour Is Not on Fire. This show toured around the UK in October and November 2015. During the tour, they sang an original song called "The Internet Is Here". They later released this song to raise money for charity.

In 2016, they took the tour to the US and Toronto. It was the biggest tour ever done by YouTube creators. They also toured Australia in August 2016 and then performed in Europe.

YouTube Red Films and Dan and Phil Go Outside

In October 2016, The Amazing Tour Is Not on Fire was released as a YouTube Red Original film. They also released a documentary called Dan and Phil's Story of TATINOF. They were the first British YouTube creators to release content on YouTube Red.

In October 2017, Daniel posted a video called "Daniel and Depression." In this video, he shared that he had experienced clinical depression.
