College Success at Kentucky
Darius Miller played college basketball for the University of Kentucky. In 2012, his team won the national championship. This was a huge achievement! After the win, Darius was chosen to give a special jersey and championship ring to President Barack Obama at the White House.

- He won a state championship with his high school team.
- He won an NCAA national title with the University of Kentucky.

Professional Basketball Journey
Starting with the New Orleans Pelicans (2012–2014)
In 2012, Darius Miller was chosen by the New Orleans Hornets in the NBA draft. He was the 46th player picked overall. He signed a contract with the team in August 2012. During his first year, he also played some games for the Iowa Energy. The Hornets team changed its name to the New Orleans Pelicans in April 2013.
Darius signed with the Pelicans again in 2014. However, he was later released from the team in November 2014.
Playing in Germany with Brose Bamberg (2015–2017)
In 2015, Darius moved to Germany to play for a team called Brose Bamberg. He played there for the rest of the 2014–15 season. He liked it so much that he signed to play for them again for another season. In 2016, he signed a two-year extension with Bamberg. He left the team in July 2017 to return to the NBA.
Back with the New Orleans Pelicans (2017–2020)
Darius Miller returned to the New Orleans Pelicans in July 2017. This was his second time playing for the team. On November 13, 2017, he scored a career-high 21 points in a game against the Atlanta Hawks. The Pelicans won that game by just one point.
He matched his career high of 21 points twice more. Once in December 2018 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and again in January 2019 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. In July 2019, he signed another two-year contract with the Pelicans. Sadly, in August 2019, he had to have surgery for a serious injury to his right Achilles tendon. This meant he would be out of play for a long time.
Time with the Oklahoma City Thunder (2020–2021)
In November 2020, Darius Miller was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He played 18 games for them before being released in April 2021.
