Darrell Keith Miller Sr. was born on February 26, 1958. He is a former professional baseball player from the United States. He played for the California Angels team. Darrell was a catcher and an outfielder from 1984 to 1988.
He is also a Catholic deacon. He was the first African American to become a deacon in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange. As of 2021, he works as the director of Major League Baseball's Urban Youth Academy. This academy is in Compton, California.

Playing for the Angels
Darrell Miller played his entire professional career for the California Angels. This team chose him in the 9th round of the 1979 Major League Baseball Draft. He played in 224 MLB games during his career.
