Dassault Mirage F1 facts for kids
The Mirage F1 is a famous French fighter jet. It was designed to be both an air superiority fighter (meaning it's great at fighting other planes in the sky) and an attack aircraft (meaning it can bomb targets on the ground). This powerful jet first flew on December 23, 1966, and joined the French Air Force in 1973. It was built by a company called Dassault Aviation. Today, countries like France, Iran, and Morocco still use the Mirage F1.
