David McMillan (born September 20, 1981 – died May 18, 2013) was an American professional football player. He played as a defensive end. The Cleveland Browns team chose him in the 2005 NFL Draft. Before playing professionally, he played college football for the Kansas Jayhawks.
Playing in College
David McMillan was a key player for the University of Kansas football team. He played as a defensive end in 37 out of 46 games. During his time there, he made 150 tackles. He also got 15 sacks, which means he tackled the opposing team's quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. David also caused five fumbles, where the ball carrier drops the ball.
Playing Professionally
Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns picked David McMillan in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. This meant he was the 139th player chosen overall that year. He played for the Browns from 2005 to 2007. In August 2008, he left the team before the 2008 season began.
Toronto Argonauts
On April 9, 2009, the Toronto Argonauts signed David McMillan. This team plays in the CFL. However, he did not make the final team roster after their training camp.
His Passing
David McMillan sadly passed away in May 2013 in Georgia.
