History of De Graff, Minnesota
De Graff was first planned out in 1875. It was named after Andrew De Graff, who worked for the railroad. A post office opened in De Graff in 1873. It helped people send and receive mail for many years until 1996. The city officially became a town, or "incorporated," in 1881. This meant it could have its own local government.
