Dee Hsu (born on June 14, 1978), also known by her stage name Little S, is a famous Taiwanese TV host, actress, and singer. She started her career in 1994 with her older sister Barbie Hsu (Big S). They were part of a music group called S.O.S.
Later, the group changed its name to A.S.O.S. and started focusing on hosting TV shows in 1996. The sisters hosted popular shows like Guess and 100% Entertainment. Dee Hsu became very well-known for co-hosting Kangsi Coming from 2004 to 2016 with Kevin Tsai. They even won an award for Best Host in a Variety Programme in 2005.
Dee Hsu was also recognized by Forbes China Celebrity 100 several times, showing her popularity in the Chinese-speaking world.

Dee Hsu's Career Journey
Dee Hsu was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She is the youngest of three sisters. Her older sister, Barbie Hsu, also became a big star. Their cousin, Chelsey Chang Chia-ru, is a news anchor.
Starting in Music and Moving to TV
In 1994, Dee and Barbie started as a music duo called S.O.S. (Sisters of Shiu). After some time, they changed their group name to A.S.O.S. (Adult Sisters of Shiu).
Around 1996, they shifted their focus from singing to hosting TV shows. A TV producer named Wang Wei-Zhong invited them to host. They co-hosted many shows, including Guess and 100% Entertainment. They also hosted Weekend Three Precious Fun and a cooking show called Gourmet Secrets of the Stars. In 2010, they started their own companies.
Hosting Popular Talk Shows
From 2004 to 2016, Dee Hsu co-hosted the talk show Kangsi Coming with Kevin Tsai. This show made her very popular because of her funny and clever personality.
After Kangsi Coming ended, Dee Hsu hosted S-Style Show in mainland China. Later, she reunited with Kevin Tsai for a show called Zhenxiang ba! Huahua Wanwu from 2018 to 2020. In 2018, she was part of the reality show Her Flower Store. In 2019, she joined her sister Barbie and friends Mavis Fan and Aya Liu in a travel series called We Are Real Friends.
Dee Hsu also hosted Dee's Talk from 2021 to 2022. She has been hosting the web show Dee Girls Talk since 2022. After her sister Barbie passed away in February 2025, Dee Hsu took a break from the show. Sandy Wu filled in as the host during that time.
Dee Hsu as a Singer
After A.S.O.S.'s last album, Dee Hsu released her own music. In 2014, she released an EP (a short album) under the name elephant DEE. She wrote five songs for this EP, with her sister Barbie writing lyrics for one of them.
The next year, she held her first solo concert in Taipei. In 2019, she released a song called "I Am Not Madame Bovary" with Da Peng to promote a movie. Dee Hsu has also written song lyrics for other singers like Tanya Chua and Eric Chou.
Dee Hsu as an Actress
Dee Hsu has also acted in TV shows and movies. She starred in the Taiwanese sitcom Six Friends in 2002. She also appeared in the TV drama Say Yes Enterprise in 2004.
After Kangsi Coming finished, Dee Hsu starred in the movie Didi's Dream in 2017. This movie was directed by Kevin Tsai. She also had a small role in the Chinese version of Meteor Garden in 2018. This was a remake of the show that made her sister Barbie famous. In 2023, she acted in the Netflix show At the Moment.
Dee Hsu's Personal Life
Dee Hsu was in a relationship with Micky Huang for four years. They later became friends again on the show Kangsi Coming in 2015.
In 2005, Dee Hsu married a Taiwanese businessman named Mike Xu. They have three daughters named Elly, Lily, and Alice.
