Degerfors Municipality (Degerfors kommun) is a local government area in central Sweden. It is located in Örebro County. The main town and administrative center of the municipality is Degerfors.
This area was once part of Karlskoga Municipality. In 1925, the northern part of Karlskoga split off to form a new municipality. It became a special market town, called a köping, in 1943. Later, in 1967, it joined with parts of the old Svartå Municipality.
