Dent is a small city located in Otter Tail County, Minnesota, in the United States. In 2020, the city had a population of 173 people.
History of Dent
Dent first had a post office in the year 1900. The city was officially planned out in 1903. It became an incorporated city on September 6, 1904.
No one is completely sure how Dent got its name. Some people believe it was named after Henry Dent, who was a railroad official.
Geography of Dent
