This mountain is found in Custer County, within the Salmon-Challis National Forest. It's about 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) north of the border with Blaine County. You can also find it about 1.75 miles (2.82 kilometers) north-northeast of another peak called Goat Mountain.
