History of Dodge Village
Dodge was officially planned and mapped out in 1886. This happened when the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad tracks reached this area. The village was named after George A. Dodge, who was one of the first settlers in the region. Dodge became an official village in 1887.
