Donald Martin Stark (born July 5, 1954) is an American actor. He is well-known for playing Bob Pinciotti on the TV show That '70s Show. He was on this show for all eight seasons, from 1998 to 2006.

Don Stark also played Oscar Kincade in the TV series Hit the Floor. You might have seen him in movies like Star Trek: First Contact (1996) and John Carter (2012). He has also used his voice for cartoon characters, like Vincent in Father of the Pride and Rhino in Spider-Man: The Animated Series. Don Stark has two daughters.

Early Life and Education

Growing Up in New York and California

Don Stark was born in New York City. His dad, Nathan Stark, was also an actor. His mom, Debra, stayed home to take care of the family. Don's family has both Jewish and Italian backgrounds.

When Don was a child, his family moved to Los Angeles, California. They settled in an area called the San Fernando Valley.

High School and Early Acting

Don Stark went to Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, California. He finished high school in 1972. While in high school, he played football for the school team. He also loved acting and got main roles in many school plays.

He played characters like Marvin Hudgens in Dark of the Moon and Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls. He also played Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof. In a special Shakespeare Festival, he won an award for playing the main character in Othello.

College Years

After high school, Don Stark went to California State University, Northridge. He first started studying business. But he soon decided to change his major to theater arts because he loved acting so much.

Don Stark is probably best known for his role as Bob Pinciotti. Bob was the friendly, sometimes clumsy, next-door neighbor of the Forman family on the FOX TV show That '70s Show. His character was the father of Donna Pinciotti, played by Laura Prepon.

He also played Oscar Kincade in the TV series Hit the Floor. In 2023, he returned to play Bob Pinciotti again in That '90s Show, which is a follow-up to That '70s Show.

Movie Appearances

Don Stark has been in many movies. Some of his early film roles include Switchblade Sisters (1975) and Peggy Sue Got Married (1986). He also had a small role as a clerk in the comedy movie Feds (1988).

Later, he appeared in the Star Trek film Star Trek: First Contact (1996). In 2012, he was in the movie John Carter. More recently, he played Uncle Frank in the 2015 film Hello, My Name Is Doris. He also appeared as Jules Podell in the 2018 movie Green Book.
