Donald Hawkins (born April 22, 1992) is an American former professional football player. He played as a tackle, a position on the offensive line. Donald played college football for two different schools: Northwest Mississippi Community College and the University of Texas. After college, he joined several professional teams. These included teams in the NFL, the AAF, and the CFL.

Early Life and High School Football
Donald Hawkins grew up in Tunica, Mississippi. He went to Rosa Fort High School. There, he played high school football on both offense and defense. He was a very good player. In 2008 and 2009, he was chosen for the first-team all-district. This means he was one of the best players in his area. In his senior year, 2009, he was the team captain. His team did well, sharing the district championship. They also made it to the 4A playoffs.
College Football Career
Donald Hawkins started his college football journey in 2010. He played for the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers. He was a standout player there. In 2011, he earned some big awards. He was named a First-team All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association. He was also a First-team All State player. Plus, he was the Offensive Line MVP in his region.
After two years, Donald moved to the University of Texas. He played for the Texas Longhorns from 2012 to 2013. During his time with the Longhorns, he was a starter in almost every game. He played in 24 out of 25 games. In 2013, he was recognized as a First-team All-Big 12 selection. This showed he was one of the top players in the Big 12 Conference.
Professional Football Journey
Donald Hawkins began his professional career in 2014. He was not chosen in the 2014 NFL draft. However, he still got a chance to play in the NFL.
Playing in the NFL
Donald signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in May 2014. He later joined the Cleveland Browns and then the Dallas Cowboys in the same year. He continued to move between teams. In 2015, he played for the Miami Dolphins and the San Francisco 49ers.
In 2016, Donald signed with the Carolina Panthers. He later joined the New York Jets that same year. He was promoted to the Jets' main roster in December 2016. His last NFL team was the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. He was placed on injured reserve that year.
Other Professional Leagues
After his time in the NFL, Donald Hawkins played in other leagues. In 2019, he joined the Alliance of American Football (AAF). He was with the San Antonio Commanders and the Arizona Hotshots. He was also traded to the Orlando Apollos. Later that year, he briefly played for the Memphis Express.
