Donnell M. Rawlings (born December 6, 1968) is an American comedian, actor, and radio host. He is famous for being a cast member on the comedy TV series Chappelle's Show and for his role in the drama series The Wire. He also voiced the character Dez in the Pixar movie Soul.

Early Life and Military Service
Donnell Rawlings was born in Washington, D.C.. He grew up with his mother in Alexandria, Virginia, where he went to T.C. Williams High School.
After high school, Rawlings joined the United States Air Force. He was stationed in South Korea and at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, D.C. His time in the military gave him unique experiences that he later used in his comedy.

Chappelle's Show
Rawlings became very well-known for his work on Chappelle's Show, a popular sketch comedy series on Comedy Central. He appeared in many funny skits and even co-hosted the third season with fellow comedian Charlie Murphy.
One of his most famous catchphrases on the show was shouting, "I'm rich!". This line became so popular that it was played at the end of every episode.
Rawlings also used the Korean he learned in the Air Force in some sketches. He played a character named "Beautiful" who would trade insults in Korean with another character. He later brought this character back for an appearance on Saturday Night Live.
