Donostialdea facts for kids
Donostialdea is a special area, or "region," in Gipuzkoa. Gipuzkoa is one of the three parts of the Basque Country in Spain. This region gets its name from Donostia-San Sebastián, which is the main city of Gipuzkoa.
Donostialdea is located around the lower part of the Urumea River and a small part of the Oria River. It includes eleven towns and covers an area of about 305.72 square kilometers. This region has borders with other areas: to the east is Oarsoaldea, to the south is Leitzaldea (in Navarre), to the west is Urola Kosta, and to the north is the Bay of Biscay.
