Dudelange is a lively town in southern Luxembourg. It is very close to the border with France. It is the fourth-largest commune (like a municipality) in Luxembourg, with over 22,000 people living there.

The commune of Dudelange also includes the smaller town of Budersberg. Near Budersberg, you can find the Mont Saint-Jean. This place has the old ruins of a medieval castle, which is a cool historical site.

Dudelange is an important industrial town. It grew a lot around 1900 from three smaller villages and a big steel mill. The letter 'D' in the name of the famous ARBED steel company, which later became part of ArcelorMittal, actually stood for Dudelange!

Besides its industrial history, Dudelange is also home to the Dudelange Radio Tower. This tower is used for broadcasting FM radio and television signals. You can also find the Centre national de l’audiovisuel (CNA) here. The CNA is a cultural center that works to save, share, and show off Luxembourg's history in movies, videos, and photos. It has a cinema, a restaurant, and a library focused on visual arts.
