The Village of Elsie

Craven's Mills: A Ghost Town Story
- Craven's Mills was once planned to be a village in 1845. It was named after three brothers who built a mill there.
- However, the village didn't last. By 1857, all the stores moved to Elsie, and Craven's Mills was left behind.
